World Music Day 2022: Remembering KK, Lata Mangeshkar, Bappi Lahiri

On this wonderful occasion of World Music Day 2022, let us remember the iconic singers we have lost recently.

Life without music is also very difficult to live and this year we said goodbye to the great singers of the music world.

This year we lost great musicians like Late Lata Mangeshkar, Bappi Lahiri, KK, Sidhu Moose Wala who have taken India to great heights with their songs.

Lata Mangeshkar ji was born on 28 September 1929 and she had been singing songs for seven decades, it is a record in itself.

Lata ji started her career in 1948 with the song 'Dil Mera Toda Mujhe Kahin Ka Na Chhoda' from the film 'Majboor' and she died on 6 February 2022.

Bappi Lahiri was born on 27 November 1952 and started her career as a composer in the Bengali film 'Daadu' at the age of just 19.

Bappi Lahiri's famous songs 'Taki Taki', 'Inteha ho gayi tetere ki', 'Yaad aa raha hai' created a lot of buzz but he died on 15 February 2022.

Sidhu Moose Wala was born on 11 June 1993 in Punjab, he was a fearless star whose songs were a hit not only in India but also abroad.

But at the age of 29, Sidhu Moose Wala was shot dead on 29 May 2022 in Mansa district of Punjab.

KK was born on 23 August 1968 and was considered the greatest singer of the 21st century, almost all the hit songs of Emraan Hashmi were sung by KK.

But on 31 May 2022, KK was performing in a live concert in Kolkata and suddenly died due to deteriorating health.
