Former Miss Brazil Gliese Correa dies of a heart attack at 27
The news of great sadness has come out that Miss United Continents Brazil 2018 Gliese Correa who was in a coma for the last two months has passed away.
Former Miss Brazil Gliese Correa had her regular tonsil surgery but after that she suffered a heart attack and was in a coma for two months.
Alves Oliveira told The Mirror about Gliese Correa: "She had surgery [at the end of March] to remove her tonsils and after five days at home, she had bleeding.
Her family's pastor, Lydian Alves, said that "she had an operation to remove her tonsils at the end of March and on April 4 she went into a coma for two months after a cardiac arrest".
Gliese Correa entered the world of beauty pageants at a very young age and was crowned Miss United Continents Brazil in 2018 at the age of 23.
Gliese Correa started working as a beautician and model after winning the beauty pageant and also shares her work on social media.
A spokesperson for the Miss United Continents Organization also issued a statement saying - "Was a beautiful young lady with such joy for life."
He further said in his statement: "I would like to express my deepest condolences to his family and his mentor Henrique Fontes
Many people sent their condolences on social media and we pray for the peace of his soul on the death of Correa.
