FireStick Remote Issues Fixed, Product review
This product is bang for buck as it is basically a new and unused unit and the remote, cables and the firestick itself feels of good quality. The mic of remote also feels good. I ran this firestick on a chinese wisdom share tv and had issue of volume and power button button not working, this is because during the setup i had selected my tv brand name as brand not listed, but for these features to work i had to select correct tv brand name. This is because to get the correct IR code we have to specify the tv brand. Since I had chinese tv I had to select a chinese brand of tv like tcl, hisense or skyworth. If the don’t work use samsung, lg or sony as tv brand and the features will work overall this is a very good product.

Old batteries were sent. Disappointed
The Item was perfect but the batteries that were sent along with the remote were old and rusted. It was also not working. This was a major downer.

Been using this for a year almost every day. It runs smooth for hours.(I used to use the fire tv from Tataplay it was very laggy and always hanging and i also paid 250 every month for that, This is nothing like that it’s smooth and FREE if u just want to watch YouTube )The remote functions like volume and power don’t work for Sony bravia, but they work on other TVs. I watch YouTube, Netflix, amazon for atleast 4 hrs every day, no problems. . This is without a doubt the best purchase i ever made. The remote battery can be tricky sometimes. It takes time to recognise when batteries are replaced. (u can also use ur phone for casting and use it as remote)

Best investment in entertainment
My 10 year old Sony TV had Netflix hard installed and I started getting messages from the provider that it would be no longer supported on the TV model. This was in June 24. No OTA supports from Sony or Netflix to upgrade the app.I had to look for an alternative. I zeroed in on this. And I have no regrets.I get Netflix, YouTube ,Amazon Prime and a host of other channels (paid and free) which have opened up a whole world of entertainment for me .This device is not without its quirks. Sometimes the disk space runs out and I have issues updating existing apps. Sometimes the response is low.But these issues are not deal breakers. This device is a mini computer with its own processor and memory. You have to be a borderline tecchie or a nerd to use this. I’ve had no issues working with it.Bluetooth wireless beautifully and you can watch quietly without disturbing anyone.You can even get a VPN connection, install the vpn app and watch old Hollywood movies. I wont tell you how. What’s the fun in that? :-)Picture quality and sound are great. Go for it. I’ve had no regrets.

Check it properly once you buy it
Initially it didn’t work properly because there were different colors lines showin in tv like green, blue red after connecting stick but later it started working fine and in evening power and volumes buttons stopped working and later even these buttons started working fine when i unplugged fire stick and plugged it in tv after 60 secs apart from these everything is fine, so that’s why I am giving it 3 stars. I am sharing the picture of those different colors lines showing in my TV.

initially it stopped working screen freezed remote not working ,tried un plugging and plugging many times, yesterday i tried re setting the device and rebootig it again and it started working properly with all the functions on remote workingGood quality product. It looks like new one .not even a scratch. And it works smoother .Thanks Amazon
