Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Day 2: Recently released Rajkummar Rao–Vamika Gabbi film Bhool Chuk Maaf earned more than everyone’s expectations at the box office. The film was released in theatres on 23 May 2025, and its ticket price was heavily discounted, due to which the film earned ₹7.20 crores on the very first day.
Trade analysts believed that the film would earn only ₹2 to ₹3 crores, but the film did well at the box office based on mixed reviews. The film earned ₹9.81 crores on Saturday, i.e. 24 May, jumping 32 percent without a discounted price. Now, on Sunday, 25 May, more growth will be seen in the collection of Bhool Chuk Maaf.
This film is based on a time-loop, which is produced by Maddock Films. Maddock Films’ previous release Zara Hatke Zara Bachke earned ₹5.49 crores.

This film was surrounded by controversy since its release because, after the release date of the film was repeatedly postponed, Maddock Films decided to release it directly on OTT. But then PVR filed a case of ₹60 crores against the makers in the court, and the decision came in favour of PVR, due to which the film was released in theatres.
Bhool Chuk Maaf story
Talking about the story of the film, it revolves around the marriage of Rajkummar Rao’s character, “Ranjan”. Ranjan is a defeated romantic man who gets a government job to marry his girlfriend. But on the day of the wedding, he gets trapped in the cycle of time and, to get out of it, he has to fulfil a forgotten promise. Then Ranjan’s struggle to break this time cycle is shown in the film.

Earlier, Rajkummar Rao’s Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video was released on 11 October 2024, but the film could not do wonders at the box office. Tripti Dimri, Vijay Raaz, Mallika Sherawat, and Archana Puran Singh were seen with him in this.
