Amazon Prime Ends the Fantasy Saga: Amazon Prime has cancelled Season 3 of the American fantasy series The Wheel of Time. According to a report by Deadline, the popularity of Season 3 had declined significantly, which led to its cancellation.

There was a considerable drop in viewership for Season 3, and it could not live up to expectations. The series was produced by Sony Pictures Television and Amazon MGM Studios.
Previous Release Dates
The first season of the series was released in November 19, 2021 and it has 8 episodes and became the most-watched series of the year. The second season came out in September 1, 2023 & it also have 8 episodes, and the third season was released in March 13, 2025 with 8 episodes. However, just one month after its release, plans for Season 4 were cancelled.
Reason Behind the Cancellation
The reason behind the cancellation is said to be the underperformance of Season 3. As a result, Amazon has decided not to invest further in the series.
